SOCIAL MEDIA CAROUSELS
This collection of social media carousels was created to transform complex stories, company initiatives, and project highlights into engaging visual narratives. Each carousel combines strategic layout, typography, and branded storytelling to encourage audience interaction while showcasing McGough’s work, culture, and community impact. From celebrating Women in Construction Week to highlighting historical landmarks, cultural spaces, and educational projects, these designs were developed to create immersive, informative content tailored for social media engagement.
THE GREAT MINNESOTA GET TOGETHER
The Minnesota State Fair is one of the largest in the nation, second only to Texas, and it holds a special place in the state’s history and in McGough’s history. Located just three miles from the fairgrounds, McGough has had the privilege of contributing to that legacy by helping build several of the fair’s iconic structures.
This social media carousel highlights that ongoing relationship through an interactive timeline that showcases key milestones, historical context, and detailed insights into each project. The carousel invites viewers to explore how McGough’s work has helped shape the fairgrounds over time, honoring both the tradition of the fair and the craftsmanship behind each build.
NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH
For Native American Heritage Month, I designed a social media carousel that tells the story of the Hocokatati Cultural Center, built by McGough. The panoramic image anchors the post, drawing viewers into the space and highlighting the craftsmanship behind the center. Through thoughtful layout, typography, and visual storytelling, the carousel celebrates McGough’s work while encouraging audiences to learn about Native American culture, visit the heritage center, and engage with the community. The project balances education and inspiration, turning a single social post into an immersive cultural experience.
WOMEN IN CONSTRUCTION WEEK - MEET MWI
Created in recognition of Women in Construction Week, this graphic was designed to highlight the impact of McGough’s Women’s Initiative and its commitment to mentorship, professional development, and community within the construction industry. The design supports the initiative’s mission by visually celebrating the women helping shape a more inclusive and collaborative future in construction.
BACK TO SCHOOL SEASON
For the back-to-school season, I created a social media carousel highlighting a selection of our recently completed school projects. The design uses a chalkboard-style background paired with hand-drawn chalk typography to evoke the look and feel of a classroom environment. This visual approach helped connect the featured projects to the excitement and nostalgia of returning to school, while maintaining a cohesive, branded presentation across the carousel.
